Sustainable Production in the Electric Valley

Renault Group pledges to produce the Renault 5 E-Tech Electric and its battery in France from summer 2025, assembling vehicles and batteries at the Douai plant. The motor will be manufactured at Cléon, and the modules at the Douai Gigafactory (Envision AESC partnership). By 2030, the carbon footprint of the modules is expected to be 35% smaller than that of the ZOE.
