India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt Ltd. has launched 3rd generation of the FZ-FI & FZS-FI motorcycles. The new addition to the 149 cc segment now also come with ABS.

The new FZ-FI is priced at INR 95,000/- (ex-showroom Delhi).

The new FZS-FI is priced at INR 97,000/- (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new FZ-FI & FZS-FI now come with an all-new design. Just like the previous models the bikes look muscular but this time there are more smooth shapes than the shrap angle changes seen on the older model.
The new FZ-FI and FZS-FI also feature a newly designed sub frame, separate housings for LED headlight beams, newly designed plastic resin tank cover and two level seat with comfortable grab bars. The new FZS-FI additionally features a lower engine fairing along with partly chrome finished air intake and exclusive colour schemes.

The new FZ-FI is available in Metric Black and Racing blue shades.

The new FZS-FI is available in Matt black, Dark matt blue and Gray & Cyan Blue.
Further the motorcycles also come with BOSCH single channel ABS in the front wheel along with higher handle bar position, LCD instrument cluster, rear disc brakes, mudguard from the FZ 25, sliding engine kill switch and main switch in the front of the tank.
Power for both the bikes comes from a 149cc, SOHC fuel-injected, 2-valve, single-cylinder Blue Core engine. It develops a power of 13.2 PS @ 8,000 rpm and a torque of 12.8 Nm @ 6,000 rpm. The motor come couples to a 5-speed gearbox.
