Volkswagen, Europe’s leading car manufacturer, has launched the new Volkswagen Vento Highline Plus for India. The new Vento Highline Plus is endowed with stylish and aesthetic upgrades to further increase its appeal.
The new Volkswagen Vento Highline Plus is equipped with features like Full LED Headlamps, stunning LED DRLs and rear view camera that are targeted at optimising the driving experience and add an extra touch of style and comfort. Along with the added features, the new Vento boasts of OVRM turn indicators, Zirkonia alloy wheels, 3D effect tail lamps on the exterior. The interior is packed with automatic rain sensing wipers, climatronic air-conditioning, rear air-conditioning vents, auto-dimming IRVM, touchscreen infotainment system, cooled glove box and a flat-bottom, multi-function steering wheel.

The new VW Vento Highline Plus is available with a choice of three engines. The first option is the 1.6-litre MPI naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 105 PS and 153 Nm of torque and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. The second option is a 1.2-litre TSI turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 105 PS and 175 Nm of torque and is paired to the 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. The third is a 1.5-litre TDI turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine that develops 110 PS and 250 Nm of torque. This engine has can be ordered with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
Embodying Volkswagen’s characteristic DNA of safety, build quality and drivability, the new Vento comes fitted with dual front airbags, Electronic Stabilisation Programme (ESP) with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Hill-hold function, windows with anti-pinch technology, rear parking sensor with a camera and an electronic immobiliser anti-theft device.
