India Kawasaki has launched the Ninja 650 ABS in the Candy Plasma Blue colour. The existing black colour for the Kawasaki Ninja 650 ABS has been discontinued. This new model is priced at INR 5.33 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
Bookings for this new blue shade is open and it will be sold in limited numbers. Along with it the Kawasaki Ninja 650 ABS is also offered in the KRT Edition Lime Green and Ebony colour scheme which too is a special edition and has got its colour and graphics inspired from Kawasaki Racing Team. This one is priced at INR 5.49 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi)

“We take a lot of pride in different colour combinations, though the green and black is our signature style. The Ninja 650 in black received a very good response in the Indian market. Now we are expecting the same for blue Ninja 650 ABS,” commented Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors.
As far as technical specifications are concerned there are no changes to the sport tourer. It is still powered by the potent 649 cc liquid-cooled, 4-stroke parallel twin engine which produces 68 PS and 65.7 Nm of torque. This motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Upfront, the Ninja 650 ABS is fitted with 41 mm telescopic fork and at the rear, it gets horizontal Back-link suspension with adjustable preload. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch and the braking duties are carried out by Dual semi-floating 300 mm petal discs at the front, while the rear gets a single 220 mm petal disc. The bike comes with Bosch 9.1 ABS system as standard.
