India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. (IKM) has launched the all-new BS-6 compliant MY21 Z650 superbike in the country. The new Z650 will be available in Metallic Spark Black colour and price will be available at INR 5,94,000/- (ex-Showroom).
The new Z650, the only middleweight supernaked available in its segment is known as one of the most well- balanced motorcycles in the Kawasaki line-up. The Z650 blends easy handling, optimal engine and chassis performance with bold “Sugomi” styling.
The powerplant and chassis of the Z650 are what make this motorcycle extremely well-balanced, fun to ride and the most suitable middleweight for Hassle free riding, day to day commute along with thirst of power that will never let you get stuck in traffic, embodying bold presence everywhere. The Z650 gives riders the confidence to experience the full potential of the motorcycle.
The 2021 Kawasaki Z650 is powered by a 649 cc Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Parallel Twin engine. It produces 68 PS @ 8000 rpm and 64 Nm @ 6700 rpm. The motor is coupled to a 6-speed transmission.
Stopping power for the motorcycle comes from Dual semi-floating 300 mm petal discs with dual-piston callipers at the front and a single 220 mm petal disc with single-piston calliper at the rear.
The new Z650 weighs 191 kg and has a fuel capacity of 15 litres. It has a wheelbase of 1410 mm, ground clearance of 130 mm and a seat height of 790 mm. The bike measures 2115 mm in length, 765 mm in width and 1065 mm in height.
Feature-wise the new Kawasaki Z650 gets a new digital TFT colour instrumentation, LED headlights, Smartphone Connectivity and new Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport 2 tyres.
