India Kawasaki Motors has launched the 2019 Kawasaki Z900 for the Indian market. The motorcycle is priced at INR 7.68 Lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and arrives as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
The new Kawasaki Z900 is available in three paint scheme- Metallic Flat Spark Black / Metallic Spark Black, Metallic Moondust Gray / Ebony and Pearl Flat Stardust White / Metallic Spark Black.
The Kawasaki Z900 is a rider-focused Supernaked bike with the sublime balance of power and handling. The key component to the Z900’s light weight is the all-new frame in combination with the extruded aluminium swinging arm.
The 2019 Kawasaki Z900 gets its power from the 948 cc liquid-cooled, 4 stroke, In-line four, fuel-injected engine. This motor produces 123.3 bhp of power and 98.6 Nm of torque. The engine is mated with a 6-speed transmission with a standard slip-assist clutch.
The Kawasaki Z900 weight 210 kg (kerb weight) and is fitted with a 17-litre fuel tank. To help it come to a stop, the company has equipped the bike with twin semi-floating 300 mm petal discs with a 4-piston calliper at the front and a 250 mm petal rotor with a single-piston calliper at the rear. Dual-channel ABS is standard on the motorcycle.
Suspension duty is carried out by 41 mm inverted forks with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability at the front and a back-link mono-shock with rebound damping and spring preload adjustability at the rear.
