Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL), has introduced a new VX CVT top grade of its compact sedan – Honda Amaze. The new grade will be available in both Petrol & Diesel. Earlier, the CVT variant was available only in S and V grade of the new Honda Amaze.

The new Amaze line-up has also been equipped with the standard application of Front Passenger Seat Belt Reminder and High-Speed Alarm. Addition of these features have been done ahead of Safety regulations that will be implemented from 1st July 2019.
The Amaze was already equipped with standard rear parking sensors, ABS, Dual Airbags, ISOFIX Child Seat Anchorage, Impact Sensing Door Unlock and host of other safety features at the time of launch in May 2018.
The Honda Amaze VX variant features a 17.7 cm Advanced Infotainment System with Capacitive Touchscreen with In-built Satellite-Linked Turn by Turn Navigation. It also gets Seamless Smartphone Connectivity (Android Auto, Apple Carplay) and IR Remote Control.
Further, the car gets, Additional USB-In port, Steering Mounted Voice control switches, Rear Camera with Guidelines and Driver Side Window One Touch Up with Pinch Guard.
The Honda Amaze petrol model is powered by a 1.2-litre engine which makes 90 PS and 110 Nm, while the diesel Amaze CVT gets a 1.5-litre motor that churns out 80 PS and 160 Nm. The petrol CVT variant gives a fuel efficiency of 19 kmpl while the diesel CVT delivers 23.8 kmpl.
2018 Honda Amaze Colours:
The new Amaze will be available in 5 exterior colours – Radiant Red, Modern Silver, Golden Metallic Brown, White Orchid Pearl and Lunar Silver.
