Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd., a subsidiary of two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan has launched the V-Strom 650XT ABS adventurer tourer motorcycle in India. The bike is available in two colour options – Champion Yellow Color No. 2 and Pearl Glacier White. It arrives as a Completely Knocked Down (CKD) Unit and is assembled in India.

This all-terrain motorcycle is available at a price of INR 7,46,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT ABS is known as the ultimate tackle to ‘Do-It-All’ motorcycle which is renowned for its versatility that makes it as suited for daily commute, long highway stretches and unexplored rough roads.
The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT ABS is powered by a 645 cc, four stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 90° V-twin engine. This motor produces 70 bhp at 8,800 rpm and a torque of 62 Nm at 6,500 rpm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The adventure motorcycle comes equipped with Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) and a three-mode traction control system. It also gets Suzuki Easy Start System enabling to start the engine with only one push of the starter button.
The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT ABS takes its design inspiration from the desert racer DR-Z and DR-BIG. It comes with LED taillights, and slim and easy to manoeuvre bodywork with a new slimmer 20-litre tank for stress-free long rides. As per the norms in India, a saree guard and front number plate bracket are included as a part of the standard equipment for the V-Strom 650XT ABS.
The Suzuki V-Strom 650XT also comes with a windscreen that can be adjusted in three positions and gets specially designed Battlax Adventure A40 tyres with tubeless tyre applicable wire spoked wheels. The adventure bike also incorporates an all-new multi-function instrument panel along with a 12V DC outlet as a standard feature which allows the rider to use satellite navigation systems and recharge mobile devices.
