Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has launched 2018 Honda Activa 125 in India. The updated model now comes with some new features and few cosmetic updates. The company has also introduced new colours for the scooter as well.

The 2018 Honda Activa 125 gets similar new features that we have seen on the new Grazia, new Activa 5G and the new Dio. The scooter features LED headlight and LED position lamp, Digital Analog Meter with Eco Speed Indicator, 4-In-1 Lock With Seat Opening Switch, Service Due Indicator, Grey alloy wheels and Chrome Metal Muffler Cover. Customers can also get an optional Mobile Charging Socket which will be added to the under-seat storage area.
Mechanically, the scooter remains identical to the earlier model but now comes with a new 3-step adjustable suspension for the rear. Upfront it utilizes the same telescopic front forks. The Activa 125 gets drum brakes with the Combined braking system (CBS) as standard. The top end variant is also available with an optional front disc brake.
Power for the Activa 125 comes from a Fan-Cooled, 4 Stroke, 124.9cc petrol engine. The motor is coupled to a V-Matic (CVT) transmission and produces 8.52 bhp @ 6500 rpm and 10.54 Nm @ 5000 rpm. Honda claims the scooter can reach a top speed of 84 km/h.

The 125cc scooter is available in 6 colours – Black, Rebel Red Metallic, Midnight Blue Metallic, Pearl Amazing White, including two new matte shades – Matte Crust Metallic and Matte Selene Silver Metallic.
