Kia Motors India (KMI) will make its Indian market debut at the Auto Expo 2018 in New Delhi with a new concept car. The Kia SP Concept will make its world premiere at the motor show. The brand will also showcase 16 other global models along with the SUV concept. The company has released two teaser images of the SP Concept SUV
the Kia SP Concept is Inspired by Indian heritage and driven by advanced technology. It also hints at the company’s future plan of introducing a new SUV to the Indian market. The SP Concept combines sophisticated beauty, breakthrough technology, and high functionality in a small SUV form.
Kia will also showcase its wide range of electric vehicles, plug-in hybrids, and a range of other cars. The company has confirmed that the new Kia Stinger sports sedan will also be present at the Auto Expo 2018.

In April 2017, Kia Motors signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the State Government of Andhra Pradesh, India, to build a new manufacturing facility in Anantapur District. Construction of Kia Motors’ first manufacturing facility in India is under consideration to commence in the first quarter of 2018. The manufacturing facility is expected to begin production in the second half of 2019 and produce approximately 300,000 units per year.
