Ford India has launched the 2019 edition of one of its most loved and admired small car brands, the Figo. The company claims there are more than 1,200 new parts on new Ford Figo. The hatchback is available in three variants including the new top-of-the-line ‘Blu’ trim across two fuel options and seven colours.

2019 Ford Figo Colour Options:
The new Figo will be available in seven colours, including White Impact, Ingot Silver, Smoke Grey, Absolute Black Deep Impact Blue, Ruby Red and Oxford White. The Figo Blu is available in only Moondust Silver, Smoke Grey and Oxford White shades.
The new Figo comes with redesigned front fascia which features a dynamic three-dimensional cellular grille. The fog lamps are integrated into the front bumper and will come with a chrome and Blue touch, depending on the variant.
The Figo Blu features a sporty cellular grille, new 15-inch alloys, dual tone roof, stylish blue themed interiors and a segment-first six airbags. It will also come with rain sensing wipers, automatic headlamps and electrochromic inside rear view mirror (IRVM).
The interiors come with a sporty blue and charcoal black theme. The new Figo will be fully equipped with several convenience features including push-button start/stop, reverse parking sensors and camera, automatic climate control, USB slots among many others. It will also come equipped with a 7-inch infotainment system with touchscreen and built-in navigation.
The hatchback is also equipped with Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and gets Electronic Stability Program (ESP) & Electric Power Assisted Steering (EPAS) in the automatic variant.
The new Figo comes with three engine choices. The first is the three-cylinder 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine which is being introduced for the first time. The naturally aspirated engine generates 96 PS of peak power and 120 Nm of torque while delivering fuel efficiency of 20.4 KM/L.
For diesel lovers, the new Ford Figo will come with Ford’s trusted 1.5L TDCi engine. This motor delivers 100 PS peak power, 215 Nm of torque and fuel economy of 25.5 KM/L.
Both these engines in the new Figo will be paired with a sportier five-speed manual transmission. This new gearbox is said to be almost 15% lighter and helps improve fuel economy while reducing NVH. It also requires 40% lesser gear oil than its predecessor.
The 2019 Ford Figo will also be offered with a six-speed Automatic Transmission. This gearbox is paired to the latest 1.5L petrol, three-cylinder engine. The automatic Figo will deliver a peak power of 123 PS and fuel economy of 16.3 KM/L.
