In terms of look, the Brio gets a very familiar front end, similar to the other Honda models. It gets the wing-shaped grilled surrounded by sleek headlamps. The sides, retain some of the characteristics of the older model, such as the prominent shoulder line. The window line raises as it moves towards the rear. The car rides on 14-inch alloy wheels.

The rear end of the end gets substantial changes as compared to the previous model. Gone is the huge glass tailgate which gave the Brio its unique look. It now comes with a conventional sheet metal tailgate and gets petal shaped tail lamps as well. When launched in India, we can expect people to compare the rear look with the new Ford Figo and the Tata Tiago to some extent.

The new Honda Brio RS gets a blacked-out headlamp and black finished front grille with an RS badge. It also gets side skirts, rear bumper with faux diffuser and diamond cut 15-inch alloy wheels. The roof is finished in black and the hot hatch gets a roof-mounted spoiler with LED stop lamp.

Inside, the new Brio gets an all-black dashboard with beige seat fabric and roof liner. The design is simple and clean. It also gets automatic climate control, tilt adjustable steering and electrically adjustable outside rear view mirror. The front seats get integrated headrests while the rear seats get adjustable headrests.

The interior of the Honda Brio RS has been designed with the sporty look in mind. It gets an all-black look with orange accents around the car such as on the dashboard near the air vents. The seats are also finished in black and get orange stitching. The instrument cluster also gets an RS badge. It also gets a 6.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

Power for the new Brio comes from the 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine which produces a power of 90 PS @ 6000 rpm and a torque of 110 Nm @ 4800 rpm. This motor comes equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard but a CVT option is on offer as well. The Brio RS variant is also said to get a sportier suspension setup.

In terms of safety, the all-new Honda Brio is equipped with ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake-force Distribution). It also gets Pretensioner Seatbelt with Load Limiter and Dual Front Airbags.
