Mitsubishi has launched the new Outlander in India. The company had started bookings for the SUV in April 2018. The new Mitsubishi Outlander is available in only one variant and has been priced at INR 31.54 Lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
The India-spec third-generation Mitsubishi Outlander is powered the 2.4 litre, DOHC engine with Mitsubishi Innovative Valve Electronic Control System (MIVEC). This motor develops 167 PS of power at 6000 rpm and 222 Nm of torque at 4100 Nm.
The engine is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with paddle shifters. The SUV also gets Multi Select 4WD (Electronically controlled on-demand 4WD – 4WD AUTO / 4WD ECO / 4WD LOCK).
The new Mitsubishi Outlander features LED headlamps with LED DRL, LED front fog lamps and LED rear combination lamps. It also gets an dual-zone automatic climate control, Power tilt & sliding sunroof with anti-trapping function, Rain sensing wiper, 16-inch alloy wheels, Central door locking system and Power window driver’s auto (up-down) function.
Mitsubishi has also added a electric parking brake with auto hold function, 6.1-inch two DIN head unit and Rockford Fosgate acoustic design premium sound system with four speakers, two tweeters, a woofer and a 710-watt amplifier. The mid-sized SUV is also equipped with seven airbags, Active Stability Control (ASC), Hill Start Assist (HAS, Cruise Control, Auto Headlamps, Immobilizer, Security alarm system, Front and Rear impact bar, Brake assist system and RISE body.
New Mitsubishi Outlander Colours:
The 7-seater SUV will be available in 7 colours- Black Pearl, Cosmic Blue, Orient Red, Cool Silver, White Solid, White Pearl and Titanium Gray.
