Tata Hexa Cliffrider Concept Imagined – Rendering

Before, you proceed, let me be clear that this Tata Hexa Cliffrider Concept rendering is just a fan made art. Tata Motors currently has no plans to bring such a vehicle to the market, at least in the near future. The company is currently focusing on its two new models which will be based on the Tata H5X concept and the Tata 45X Concept that were showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo.

Tata Motors had showcased the original Cliffrider Concept way back at 76th Geneva Motor Show in the year 2006. This Multi-Utility Lifestyle Vehicle concept was based on the Tata Xover (Crossover) concept which was showcased a year earlier.

Eventually, both these concept studies were later used to create one of the brand’s most promising models, the Tata Aria. Sadly it could not capture the market as expected and was discontinued after a while. It was later succeeded by the now popular Tata Hexa.

Taking inspiration from the original Tata Cliffrider Concept, here is a rendering based on the Hexa. As can be seen in the image, the Tata Hexa Cliffrider Concept takes some inputs from the IMPACT 2.0 design language we saw on the H5X Concept vehicle. Most of the styling elements from the original car have been retained to make it recognisable.

The body of the Hexa has been reconstructed into that of a double cab lifestyle pickup. It gets a matte black coloured grill and “CLIFFRIDER” lettering on the bonnet. The light setup is made up of two parts. A LED DRL strip runs on the top part while the high & low beam and fog lamp are placed at the bottom one.

The concept vehicle also gets a winch placed on the lower end of the bumper. There are LED lights placed on the roof as well. Apart from this, the concept gets a full body cladding, giving the pickup a rugged feel. The roof rails also extend to the edge of the loading bay, completing the look

  1. I loved the cliffrider concept. I was wondering if you have a render of the Hexa with just the beefed up cladding and offroad tyres only, with the blacked out grille. The wheel arch cladding you have done looks much better than the Hexa’s, so wanted to see that.
