Suzuki Jimny Heritage Edition arrives in Australia

The Suzuki Jimny is an iconic vehicle with a rich history. It’s small, affordable, and has impressive off-road capabilities. The Jimny has been in production since 1970 and has been a global commercial success for Suzuki. To honour its illustrious past, a special edition Jimny Heritage is now available in Australia, limited to only 300 units.

The Jimny Heritage is based on the GLX trim level and gets red mudflaps with Suzuki embossing, retro body decals, and a choice of four paint finishes – Black Pearl, Jungle Green, White, or Medium Grey. It rides on 15-inch alloys and comes exclusively with a five-speed manual transmission and four-wheel drive. It also includes a cargo tray and a Heritage badge to denote it’s a special edition.

The Jimny Heritage is well-equipped and comes with automatic LED headlights, front fog lights, reversing camera, lane departure warning, and autonomous emergency braking. The interior features a seven-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car play, a two-speaker sound system, leather steering wheel, satellite navigation, and climate control.

The price for the Jimny Heritage starts at $33,490 Australian dollars, plus $695 for paint choices apart from White. It’s worth noting that Suzuki recently unveiled a longer, five-door Jimny in India and is expected to unveil a purely electric version of the 3-door variant that will arrive in Europe by 2026.
