Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., has announced the launch of an all-new entry-level ‘W3 Variant” of its popular SUV, the XUV500. The Mahindra XUV500 W3 variant would be available across India at all Mahindra dealerships with immediate effect at a price of INR 12.22 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
Key features of the W3 variant include Projector Headlamps, Jacquard Fabric Upholstery, Electrically Operated Dual HVAC, Power-adjustable ORVMs and Engine Immobilizer. The SUV also comes with Dual Front Airbags, ABS with EBD and Disc Brakes on all four wheels.
The Mahindra XUV500 W3 draws power from the mHawk155 diesel engine which develops 114 kW Power and 360 Nm Torque. This motor gets the 6th Generation eVGT (electronically controlled variable geometry turbocharger) and is mated to a 6-speed Manual Transmission.
