Tata Motors is having four Global premiers and one European premiere at the 89th Geneva International Motor Show (GIMS). The company’s show stopper of the event is the Tata H2X Concept. Along with it, Tata Motors has also showcased the Altroz, Altroz EV, Buzzard and the Buzzard Sport.
The Tata H2X Concepts gives us a glimpse at the future sub-compact SUV from the automaker. The H2X has been designed by keeping an active customer in mind. Tata Motors says that it is dynamic, expressive and versatile, providing exemplary performance, future-ready connectivity and outstanding interior roominess.
The H2X Concept is the second vehicle to be based on the new ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) Architecture. This platform also underpins the new Tata Altroz. This concept shows the future design direction of Tata Motors under the IMPACT 2.0 design. It takes successful design cues from the H5X Concept and condenses them into a stunning package with intelligently designed space.
The Tata H2X concept gets a very athletic looking exterior design, which mirrors the active lifestyle of its targeted customer base. The multi-tone glazing seen on the compact SUV concept’s windows is inspired by the visors seen on ski helmets and mountain bike goggles.
Inside, the H2X SUV gets a wide format infotainment screen that features the latest from Tata Motors’ HMI strategy. The colours, materials, finishes and textures have been carefully selected and designed to match the outdoor nature of the customer.
The H2X measure 3840 in length, 1822 mm in width and 1635 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2450 mm. When launched, the Tata H2X Concept is said to redefine the sub-compact SUV segment for the Indian market and set new benchmarks.
