Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL) has launched it’s iconic and much awaited all-new 10th Generation Honda Civic in the Indian market. The Civic is Honda’s longest-running automotive nameplate and its largest-selling model globally.

The all-new Civic comes with sporty and aggressive styling. It has a wide and aerodynamic stance along with sharply defined character lines. The latest model of the Honda Civic gets an aggressive new face which is further amplified by its Chrome Front Grill, Signature LED Headlights and LED Daytime Running Lights.
The sedan comes with distinctive C-shaped LED Tail Lamps that truly highlight its unique brand identity. It also features 17-inch Diamond Cut Alloy Wheels, Electric Sunroof and a Shark Fin Antenna.
On the inside, the new Civic presents a dynamic blend of a remarkably spacious interior complemented by a modern and expansive cockpit design. Showcasing a completely redesigned cabin, the new Honda Civic is integrated with premium quality soft-touch materials and an extensive package of intuitive controls that provide a truly unique customer experience.
It is equipped with a 17.7 cm Touchscreen Advanced Display Audio along with Seamless Smartphone Connectivity with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. It gets 8 Speakers including 4 Tweeters. The car also comes with Premium Ivory Leather Upholstery, 3 Spoke Leather Steering Wheel, 8-way Power Driver Seat, Digital Colour TFT Multi-Information Display, Dual Zone Automatic Climate Control and Electric Parking Brake with Auto Brake Hold.

2019 Honda Civic Colour Options:
The new Civic is available in 5 exterior colours – Platinum White Pearl, Radiant Red Metallic, Modern Steel Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic and Golden Brown Metallic.
Under the hood, the new Honda Civic is powered by a 1.8-litre i-VTEC petrol engine mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This motor produces 141 PS @ 6500 rpm and 174 Nm @ 4300 rpm. Fuel efficiency is claimed to be 16.5 kmpl
Also for the first time in India, the Honda Civic has been introduced with a Diesel engine option. It comes with 1.6L i-DTEC diesel turbo unit from Honda Earth Dreams Technology series which is mated to a 6 speed Manual Transmission. This motor produces 120 PS @4000 rpm and 300 Nm @ 2000 rpm. Fuel efficiency is claimed to be 26.8 kmpl.
The new Civic measures 4656 mm in length, 1799 mm in width and 1433 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2700 mm and a boot capacity of 430 litres. For Indian Specification, the ground clearance of the all-new Honda Civic has been increased by 20mm at front and 15mm at the rear as compared to global specification.
The 10th generation Civic is built on an ultra-rigid and lightweight body structure. It utilizes the most sophisticated chassis design in the history of Civic. The MacPherson Strut Front Suspension is engineered to provide engaging performance and a responsive feel for the driver. Mounted on a rigid sub-frame, a first for Civic, the new Multi-Link Rear Suspension provides agile handling with a high degree of stability, both during normal driving and in emergency manoeuvres.
The all-new Civic has been designed to provide a high level of collision performance in a wide variety of collision scenarios, including offset and full-lap frontal collisions, side and rear impacts. The Civic is equipped with a wide range of Honda’s premium active safety, passive safety and driver-assistive features. The sedan also has ASEAN N-CAP 5-star safety rating.
The new Civic is equipped with 6 Airbags, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Agile Handle Assist (AHA), Hill Start Assist (HSA), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA).
It also gets Honda LaneWatch, Auto Headlamps, Multi-angle rearview camera, Motion-Adaptive Electric Power Steering (EPS), Rear Seat ISO-FIX Child Seat Anchorage with Tether, Rain Sensing Wiper, Auto-Dimming IRVM, Pedestrian Safety and Walk away Auto-Lock.
