Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt Ltd. a subsidiary of two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan has launched the Suzuki Burgman Street in India. The 125cc scooter is priced at INR 68,000 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The new scooter is descendant from Suzuki’s legendary Burgman portfolio. It features a blend of luxurious design drawn from the European scooter design language and is packed with advanced technology. It also one of the smallest Burgman ever built by Suzuki.
The new Suzuki Burgman Street is powered by a 125cc, 4-stroke, single cylinder, air-cooled, BS-IV compliant engine with SEP (Suzuki Eco Performance) technology. This motor produces 8.7 PS @ 7000 rpm and 10.2 Nm@ 5000 rpm.
Suzuki has also equipped the Burgman Street with Combi-Brake System (CBS) which enables operation of both brakes from the left brake lever thus helping in maintaining a good balance between front and rear brake forces.
The Suzuki Burgman Street 125 looks premium and features bright LED headlight, LED position lamp and LED tail lamp set-up. It also gets chrome trims on front and rear body parts which further enhance its appeal.
The scooter has been engineered for comfortable riding with the flexible foot-position to reduce fatigue and offer best in class riding experience. It is loaded with a multifunction, fully-digital instrument panel with a Digital Clock, Fuel Gauge, Oil Change Indicator and a dual trip meter. The body mounted windscreen helps reduce the wind blast and improve the aerodynamic characteristics.
The Burgman Street 125 has a long and comfortable seat and also scores high on utility aspects, with a convenient and secured lid equipped front pocket with standard fitment of DC socket & USB charger as an accessory. It has an under-seat storage capacity of 21.5 litres.
