Suzuki Motorcycle India Private Limited (SMIPL), a subsidiary of two-wheeler manufacturer, Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, has launched the Suzuki Gixxer ABS variant of the popular street sports motorcycle.
The Suzuki Gixxer ABS variant comes fitted with a front wheel speed sensor to detect wheel speed for better stability and controlled braking force.
The Gixxer ABS continues to be powered by an all-aluminium 4-stroke single cylinder 154.9cc BS-IV compliant engine with SEP Technology. This motor produces 14.8 PS @ 8000 rpm and 14 Nm @ 6000 rpm.
The Gixxer ABS is also equipped with Suzuki Jet cooling system (SJCS) to ensure better cooling of the engine resulting in better power and mileage.
Other features of the Gixxer ABS include AHO Headlight, LED tail lamp, fully digital speedometer, large diameter with front and back disc brake. It also comes with large-diameter front forks that increases the rigidity around the front section and reduces the weight of the motorcycle.
The sporty twin exhaust, a 3-spoke light wheel, stepped seat with distinctive design and Two-piece rear fender further add to the sporty character of the bike.

The motorcycle will be available at the starting price of INR 87,250 (ex-showroom Delhi).
