Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer has launched the new Audi A6 in India. The new Audi A6 also marks the entry of the company’s first BS-VI compliant model in the country.

The eighth-generation A6 features an elegant design with the taut roofline and short overhangs. It features a Wide, low-set single-frame grille with powerfully drawn air inlets.
The side view with striking contours over the 18-inch alloy wheels and three-dimensionally shaped rear LED tail lamps make the car look very sporty. The Matrix LED headlights with high-resolution high beam and dynamic light function give a very futuristic look to the luxury sedan.
The all-new Audi A6 sedan is equipped with a 2.0L TFSI engine and generates 245 hp and 370 Nm. The luxury sedan can accelerate from 0-100kmph in 6.8 seconds. This engine is mated to a 7 Speed S tronic transmission.
The A6 uses Mild-hybrid technology (MHEV, mild hybrid electric vehicle) via belt alternator starter and additional lithium-ion battery, 12V subsystem.
The MHEV technology permits coasting with the combustion engine switched off, high recuperation power and extended start-stop operation. The MHEV system is linked with vehicle sensors to boost efficiency and comfort.
The new Audi A6 comes equipped with MMI navigation plus with a 10.1-inch display and MMI touch response. It gets Navigation with self-learning function on the basis of driver preferences along with the Bang & Olufsen premium sound system with 3D sound.
The new A6 also comes with Audi Smartphone Interface with Audi phone box and wireless charging to make and receive calls and charge ones phone conveniently.
Other features include a 4-Zone Air-conditioning, Electrical adjustable steering column and powered driver side seat and mirrors with memory function.
The all-new Audi A6 also features Audi Park assist with Front and Rear Parking Sensors and Lane Departure Warning. The luxury sedan comes with Luggage compartment with increased loading width and 530 litres capacity and Electric trunk lid with sensor-controlled activation by means of a kicking movement. The car also comes with a large panoramic glass sunroof.
The interior of the new Audi A6 features a clean design which is a seamless fusion of architecture and operating concept. It gets an almost invisibly integrated 10.1-inch display with only a few buttons and controls.
The car also comes with ambient contour lighting for the interior. Customers have an option to choose the interior scheme colour from Mother of Pearl Beige and Okapi Brown. The In-lays feature metal finish and walnut brown finish. The new Audi A6 comes in 5 exterior paint finish – Ibis White, Mythos Black, Vesuvlus Grey, Firmament Blue and Seville Red.
With the new A6, Audi is offering the ‘myAudi Connect’ app complimentary as an inaugural offer until December 31, 2019. The ‘myAudi Connect’ App offers a host of features for the first time in India.
Audi India also introduced Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) elements that give customers a look and feel of a car that can be configured before purchase.
As part of the Digital Retail initiatives, Audi India has also taken e-commerce to the next level, customers can now purchase genuine Audi merchandise directly online from the Audi Shop.
