Skoda Auto India has launched The Rapid Rider limited edition in the country.

The limited-edition model is available for INR 6,99,000 (ex-showroom India).
The new Skoda Rapid Rider edition will be available in two colour options – Candy White and Carbon Steel. This limited edition sports the Skoda signature grille in black along with black side graphics. It also gets a glossy black finish on the B pillars as well as a black trunk lip garnish.
Inside, the special edition of the sedan gets the all-new dual-tone ebony sand interior, with premium ivory slate upholstery. It also comes with scuff plates with ‘RAPID’ inscribed on them.
The Skoda Rapid Rider edition is equipped with dual airbags and anti-lock braking system as standard. Further, it gets Parktronic rear parking sensors, anti-glare interior rearview mirror, rear windscreen defogger with timer, height-adjustable three-point seatbelts at the front, rough road package, and engine immobilizer with a floating code system.
Power for this sedan comes from the 1.6-litre multipoint injection petrol engine with 16 valves dual overhead camshaft. This motor delivers 105 PS (77kW) of power and a peak torque output of 153Nm while delivering fuel efficiency of 15.41 kmpl. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual Transmission.
