50,000th Tata Nexon rolls out from the Tata Motors’ Ranjangaon facility

Tata Motors is celebrating the rollout of the 50,000th unit of the Tata Nexon. Launched in September 2017, the compact SUV ranks amongst the top 3 in its segment. The Nexon was also recently for its safety by the Global New Car Assessment Programme (Global NCAP) and got a 4-star adult safety score.

The Nexon is the fourth and the last product to be based on the IMPACT design philosophy from Tata Motors. The company will now upgrade to the IMPACT Design 2.0 language with the launch of the new Tata Harrier.

The petrol Nexon is powered by the 1.2L turbocharged Revotron while the diesel model is equipped with the 1.5L turbocharged Revotorq motor. Both engines come with a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Tata Nexon production crosses 25000 mark

Tata Motors had recently also launched the AMT variant of the Nexon as well. The Tata Nexon HyprDrive Self-Shift Gears model comes with a 6-speed automated manual gearbox in both the petrol and diesel choices.

Tata Motors has also introduced its online car customization platform – ‘IMAGINATOR’ for the Nexon. The Imaginator is a platform that offers the flexibility to a user to enhance the look of his/her car by visualizing and adding the required accessories. This platform also enables a seamless online accessories purchase which in turn enhances the overall customer experience.
