Milestone Trails – Trailer Video:

Kushal, a mechanical engineering student started his journey on 8th July 2016 on his trusted old Royal Enfield Bullet. He was around 21 years old at that time. The four corners of India he has traveled to include Khardung La, Koteshwar, Kanyakumari and Tezu. The motorcycle used on this trip was modified to carry all of the required things, other than that it was almost stock.

As a kid, this young rider always had a dream to see the first sunrise and the last sunset of India but it was a documentary of Mr. Deepak Thimmoji, an architect who travels across India on his motorcycle which actually inspired him to take up his passion for traveling. Kushal, contacted and took advice from Mr. Deepak and did his own research and came up with a plan to travel to the four corners of India.

The Milestone Trails was funded by Kushal’s father as he believed that trips like these teach a lot of lessons for life which no school or college can. It was his way of investing in his son’s education. With everything in place, Kushal rode across the length and breadth of India and came back home where he received a warm welcome from everyone. The journey wasn’t all smooth, he did face lots of obstacles on his way, like floods, an accident and more but in the end he and his beloved Royal Enfield Bullet 350, whom he has named ‘Ashwamedha’ survived everything that came in their path.

Kushal Ijari has documented the whole trip and the full film will be featured at the Film Festival at the 2017 India Bike Week in Goa. He plans to go out on more such journeys and explore the world. Autobics wishes him all the best for his future trips.
