India Kawasaki Motors, a 100 percent subsidiary of Kawasaki Heavy Industries, Japan has launched the Ninja 650 KRT edition for motorcycling enthusiasts in India. The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 650 KRT Edition will be available in Lime Green colour with a special livery inspired by the Kawasaki Racing Team.

The Ninja 650 KRT edition in India is priced at 5,49,000 ex-showroom.
“The Ninja 650 KRT edition has done remarkably well in the USA, Europe and in other countries recently. We have got a good pool of Ninja 650 customers here in India as well. Those who were planning to buy Ninja 650, now have got another option with this new edition,” said Mr. Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors.
The new Ninja 650 KRT edition has an upright riding position, low seat height and manageable power delivery. It sports a 649 cc, Liquid-cooled, 4-stroke Parallel Twin engine that develops 68 PS and 65.7 Nm of torque. This motor is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox.
The 2018 Kawasaki Ninja 650 KRT Edition is equipped with 41 mm telescopic forks at the front and Horizontal Back-link with adjustable preload suspension at the rear. Braking power for this motorcycle comes from Dual semi-floating 300 mm petal discs with dual piston calipers at the front and a 220mm petal disc with a single piston caliper at the rear.
