Bookings Open for the New 2017 Honda CBR650F in India; Priced at INR 7.30 Lakh

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. has announced that the bookings for the new 2017 Honda CBR650F is now open for motorcycling enthusiasts in India. With enhanced riding dynamics, aggressive styling and a wilder induction roar, the new CBR650F takes sports touring to the next level.

The middleweight Super Sport style motorcycle features a sleek, aerodynamic fairing and specially designed air ducts. It also comes with a new clear-lensed LED headlight, rear LED tail light, and bronzed engine and head covers.

The sports bike is fitted with with a new 41mm Showa Dual Bending Valve type fork that provides excellent control. At the rear the single-tube, monoshock suspension unit with 7-stage spring preload adjustment and aluminium swingarm promises stability and strength.

Stopping for the 2017 Honda CBR650F comes from the new dual-piston Nissin front calipers and sintered metal pads on 320 mm dual hydraulic front discs. For the rear, there is a 240 mm hydraulic disc with a single-piston caliper and resin mold pads.

Powering the new 2017 Honda CBR650F is a 649 cc, DOHC inline, four-cylinder engine which develops 85.42 hp of and a torque output of 60.4 Nm. This motor is mated to a new 6-speed short ratio gearbox. It also comes with a redesigned intake valve. The new 4 into 1 exhaust employs a dual-pass internal structure in the muffler, reducing back pressure which delivers a wilder exhaust note when the throttle is twisted.

The Honda CBR650F is built around a steel diamond frame, which has been strengthened towards the head and made flexible at the spars to provide excellent rigidity and balance. This has been specifically tuned to feel the rush with agile real-world handling.

The new CBR650F superbike will be available in two attractive color schemes- Millennium Red and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic.

The new Honda CBR650F will be available at a price of INR 7.30 Lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi) via the bike maker’s premium Wing World dealerships located in 22 cities across India and the outlets are accepting bookings.
