Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. (HMSI) has launched the updated version of the Honda Dio. The moto scooter now complies with the Bharat Stage IV (BS-IV) and Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) norms.
The Honda Dio has been a favourite with the youth due to its outstanding design. The company has tried to make it more funky and stylish in this update. The 2017 Honda Dio receives an attention-grabbing LED Position Lights on the front apron along with new sporty graphics and comes in five colour schemes.
The key features of the update model includes trendy instrument panel, wider seat, mobile charging socket, 18-litres under seat storage space, maintenance free battery and tubeless tyres. It continues to be powered by the reliable 109 cc Honda Eco Technology (HET) engine that develops 8 bhp of power and 8.9 Nm of torque.
The moto scooter is set up with the Combi Brake System (CBS) with Equalizer technology. This feature aids in reduced braking distance and improves stability by distributing the braking force proportionately between the front and rear wheels together when the left brake lever is pressed.
